Cartes de la dignité خرائط الكرامة

2023
Cartes de la dignité (Dignity Maps) is a project conceived by the DREAM collective (DRafting and Enacting the Revolutions in the Arab Mediterranean) and Leyla Dakhli. It explores the idea of dignity as a common thread in uprisings and revolutions in the Arab Mediterranean region and since the 1950. It does so through an exhibition that uses various media to showcase different experiences and historical moments related to these events. Based on research and documentation, the exhibition is an attempt to provide answers in the form of sensitive maps enriched with sounds, images, objects, and projections that reflect life trajectories, historical situations, or times of uprisings.
Exhibited as part of DREAM City Festival (2023) in Tunis and at Marc Bloch Center, Berlin (2024).
— Identity and exhibition design, contributions on sensitive maps and publications in collaboration with Philippe Rekacewicz. Visual collaborator (assisted by Philippa Dahrouj) on “Know Your Ennemy — Know Yourself”, a research project by Candice Raymond.
